We went to Panama for 2 weeks in June 2017 and decided to explore the country by ourselves, so we rented a car and drove from Panama City to Bocas del Toro and back.

Panama offers a good mix of everything you can imagine. From beautiful islands with amazing beaches to rainforests with tropical wildlife in it to big cities and amazing scenery through out.

We explored a lot in those 2 weeks, everything from ziplining through a rainforest in Bouqete to island hopping in Bocas del Toro to citylife in Panama City and of course a stop at the Panama Canal.

We highly recommend to rent a car while in Panama, we think it´s the best way to see the country and to get the most out of it.
